During Spring Portuguese have plenty of "Nesperas", the fruit in the pictures below.
The tree is called "Nespereira" and it needs plenty water to produce good fruits. Good Nesperas have a bright orange colour and they can be very sweet. Spanish have plenty of this fruits too. I like to peel them before eating because the skin is thick and can have a sour taste.
