Traditional Breakfasts from all over the world! What's yours?

Came across this fascinating and beautifully written post about The American Diner Breakfast experience on Papawow's blog.

I found it really interesting thinking about the different cultural traditions in terms of breakfast recipes.

I thought it might be good to start a little thread where we could all share the traditional breakfasts fro our countries.

The ingredients of a fry-up vary according to region and taste.
The rashers of bacon (sometimes described simply as "rashers", which is a Synonym for "slices") and the eggs are usually fried, but grilled bacon, Scrambled eggs or poached eggs may be offered as alternatives. These are usually accompanied by fried bread or toast.

Just thought I should also add the Traditional Portuguese Breakfast here, due to my dual nationality.

This is a typical continental breakfast.

Portuguese breakfasts often consist of fresh bread, with butter, cheese, ham and jam accompanied with some strong milky coffee and fresh juice.
Sweet pastries are also very popular, as well as breakfast cereals eaten cold and mixed with milk or yoghurt and some fruit.
