In my recent vacations, I went to my hometown and took some pictures of Portuguese sweets to share with Portuguese Menu readers:
Some of my hometown, Setúbal, typical sweets: "Bolinhos Secos de Amêndoa", "Tiras de Laranja", "Esses" and one bottle of "Moscatel" sweet wine.
Traditional Portuguese Christmas cake made with different type of fruits, called "Bolo Rei" (King Cake). Pastelaria Abrantes.
Another version of "Bolo Rei" made with "Gila" and "Amêndoa".
This picture´s quality isn´t as good as the previous ones but I want to post it anyway because it´s the only one I took that shows "Laço de Natal".
This Christmas I made "Azevias" and "Filhós". I will post pictures of my Christmas sweets later.
A Sweet Christmas to all!
